Justin is a clinical and academic anaesthetist with a special interest in preoperative medicine and anaesthesia for cancer surgery.

In addition to his practice with Cancer Specialists, Justin services as Head of Preoperative Medicine in the Department of Anaesthesia at the Austin Hospital and holds as academic appointment in the Centre for Intergrated Critical Care at the University of Melbourne.  Justin is actively involved in research in the preoperative setting, with a particular focus on improving preoperative outcomes and preventing postoperative complications.

Justin is actively involved in the Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine community locally, nationally and internationally and regularly participates in Continuing Professional Development activities through the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

Outside of anaesthesia, Justine enjoys travel, good coffee, good food and spending time outdoors with his family.
